Painter rolling blue-gray paint on a wall

Painting

Interior painting with the prep done right.

The work

A clean paint job is mostly preparation: patching, sanding, masking and priming before the first coat goes on. We protect your floors and furniture, cut crisp lines and tell you plainly how many coats the room needs.

Process

How interior painting goes.

  1. 01

    Walk-through

We look at every surface, note repairs and talk through colours and sheen.

  2. 02

    Protect and prep

Furniture covered, floors masked, holes patched, edges sanded and caulked.

  3. 03

    Prime and paint

Primer where it is needed, then cut-in and roll with even coverage.

  4. 04

    Final check

Tape off, touch-ups, a walk-through with you and the room put back in order.

Estimate

What shapes the estimate.

We do not quote from a photo or a price list. We look at the work, then write up the estimate. These are the things that move it.

  • 01Square footage and number of rooms
  • 02Ceiling height
  • 03Condition of walls and amount of patching
  • 04Number of coats and colour change
  • 05Trim, doors and cabinets included or not

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

Do I need to move my furniture?

Not all of it. We move what is in the way, cover what stays and protect the floors. Tell us about fragile or heavy pieces at the visit.

How many coats will my walls need?

It depends on the existing colour, the new colour and the condition of the surface. We tell you at the estimate and explain why.

Do you paint ceilings and trim too?

Yes. Ceilings, baseboards, casings, doors and cabinets can be included in the same job.

How do I get an estimate for interior painting?

Send the estimate request on this site. We reply to arrange a visit, look at the work in person, and then write up the estimate. There is no commitment to hire us.
